Moments before the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia 2011 officers and board of directors were announced, the current AAGP president recognized Jim Korman with the following words as he was called forward to recieve the Owner Member of the Year award.  "As an Organization we are very fortunate to have many Owner Members who actively participate and are willing to take on leadership roles. Once anyone has gone through Board positions and the Executive Committee we are grateful for all the time they have given but we are even more grateful when a Past President continues to stay engaged and believe in the power of the group. Such an Owner Member came to this year's Strategic Planning Meeting and grabbed on to one of our key initiatives and in less than 6 months has brought the Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia to a new level in Public Relations. We now have a Board approved Tenants Bill of Rights and articles published on a monthly basis by a local newspaper. There is an outstanding committee meeting regularly to continue positive PR work on behalf of our members. Please help me welcome the 2010 Owner Member of the Year, Jimmy Korman".
